Installation

Green Stream’s technicians are experienced at installing gauge equipment in a variety of locations and structures. From the smallest 3 lb gauge (ours!) to a heavy-duty 120 lb gauge over the side of a bridge, we have done it all. 

• We plan with you the exact date and time window of installation, and we take care of notifying your stakeholders.

• We bring a copy of our contract and applicable permits.

• If needed, we work with your traffic control or bring our own.

• We are courteous to passersby  and cooperative with local authorities.

• We retest the gauge and ensure it is reporting data to its end point before leaving. 

• We measure by hand to verify reported data.

• We leave no trace behind, except an expertly installed gauge.  

Traffic Control

Green Stream works with several traffic control service providers, each of them fully certified in the areas where they operate by the state department of transportation. Green Stream subcontracts, schedules, provides instructions, coordinates and cooperates with the traffic control service to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow during an installation.

Elevation Surveys

Green Stream works with several reputable land surveying companies to provide NAVD88 or other vertical datum elevations of its gauges, in order to derive a vertical datum for water level. Green Stream subcontracts, schedules, provides instructions, and coordinates with the surveyor to get a relevant signed and stamped survey report.
