Startup Partners with Local University

Green Stream founder Jim Gray is an alumnus of Old Dominion University based in Norfolk, Virginia. In the early days of the startup Jim reached out to his alma mater to recruit his first employee and collaborate with ODU’s Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography.

“The Green Stream Flood Monitoring and Warning System, a collaboration between the University's Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography and Green Stream Technologies, Inc., proposes using street-level, low-cost sensors to collect real-time flood data.”
